Candy Tuft is a low, bushy perennial that produces mounds of beautiful ice-white flowers which last well into the summer months. It is a flowering plant which is used as an ornamental plant. Candy Tuft is a spring blooming favorite, often seen cascading over rocks and walls, or used as a groundcover.
Dymondia is groundcover that is native to South Africa. It grows in tight mats, 2 to 3 inches deep; it spreads slowly by offsets. It has narrow (1/8 in.) leaves that are 2 to 3 inches long, they are deep grayish green on top and they are rolled at the edges to show cottony white undersides. Summer flowers are yellow, 1 to 1 1/2 inch wide daisies, half buried in foliage.
