Iceplant Red Spike is a clumping plant that grows 3 to 5 inches high. It is slowly spreading to 15-18 inches wide. It has spiky bronzy red leaves that point straight up. Its flowers are bright red and 2 inches wide in the winter; with scattering of bloom at other seasons. Plant 6-12 inches apart for ground cover. This type of plant draws bees.
