Corsican Mint is composed of tiny, round, bright green leaves which give it its mossy look. It has tiny purple flowers that appear in the summer time. It is a creeping plant that is mat forming and it spreads at a moderate fast rate. It grows only 1/2 an inch high. To properly care for it, you must set divisions, 6 inches apart, for ground cover in sun or partial shade. It requires moisture to thrive. It has a delightful minty or sage-like fragrance when the leaves are bruised underfoot.
