Thyme Pink

Ground cover. It forms into a flat mat, into upright branches that are 2 to 6 inches high. It has roundish, 1/4 inch long, dark green, aromatic leaves. Has small purplish white flowers. Grows from June to September. Good for small areas or filler between stepping stones where foot traffic is light. Soft and fragrant underfoot. Leaves can be used in seasoning and in potpourris. Rose red variety is sold as “Reiter’s”.
